Author Biography

Barnabas Kindersley Has worked on a wide variety of photographic projects, but has always had a particular interest in photographing children. "In Children Just Like Me I have tried to build a picture, through photography, of each child's life," he says. Anabel Kindersley, A Teacher, spent many hours, sometimes days, getting to know each child, gaining their trust and confidence. "My aim was to find out about the daily lives of the children -- their family life, school, and play -- as well as to explore how they see the world. I wanted to know what they thought about the world, their aspirations, their hopes for the future. Although their lives are so different, I was amazed at how much the children of the world have in common."
