Summary

I used to feel very thrilled when the results were positive. I enjoyed putting nails on the road. I enjoyed seeing the Germans go down with all their tyres flat. I enjoyed hearing them screaming because they couldn't proceed any further. I enjoyed blowing up the railway lines. I enjoyed blowing up the sluice gates. What I wouldn't have enjoyed was being caught in the act. But I wasn't. I was very, very lucky. I was stupid, I was too patriotic really, I thought it was the right thing to do. You're very callous when you're Young. You don't care. Book jacket.
