As he led a tour down the Zambezi River, safari guide Paul heard an ear-splitting crack explode in the stillness, and he immediately knew – a hippo had bumped the canoe of one of the apprentice guides. He watched as the guide was catapulted into the water. Trying desperately to rescue his friend, Paul reached his hand out when the water suddenly exploded between them.
