Summary

An engaging narrative and a blueprint for all of us interested in interreligious work, this provocative and absorbing book explores the friendship and working relationship that developed between Lee and Boys, a Jew and a Catholic, and their shared goal to prepare educational leaders in their communities to address the issues dividing Jews and Christians. Along with insightful reflections from their travels together to Asia, Israel and Auschwitz, Lee and Boys explain their transformative work of creating environments for Jewish and Christian educators to study together, engage in serious historical and theological issues, enter the dynamism of the other's religious tradition as embodied individuals, and stimulate new understanding of the other's as well as of their own religious tradition.
