She received her PhD from Columbia University. She has published on the cabaret, postwar film, and performance art in the Third Reich. Her translation of Jean Genet's Elle was adapted for an off-Broadway production.Robin Rogers is an associate professor at CUNY's Queens College and the Graduate Center. She received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, was a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Scholar at Yale University, and served as a Congressional Fellow on Women and Public Policy. She is the author of The Welfare Experiments .
