David G. Armstrong DPM, MD, PhD, is an international expert on the diabetic foot and wound care. He is professor of surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona, and the director of the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance.

Lawrence A. Lavery, DPM, MPH, is a highly respected specialist in diabetes-related foot complications. He is a professor of surgery at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
