Author Biography

Ian Jeffreys, BA, MSc, CSCS*D, NSCA-CPT, ASCC, PGCE, is the director of athletics, sport science, and athletic performance at the Powys Sports Academy at Coleg Powys in Brecon, Wales. He is also the strength and conditioning advisor to the Welsh Rugby Union National Squad at under 16 level. Jeffreys is one of the leading strength and conditioning coaches in the UK, and through his company, All-Pro Performance, acts as a consultant to a number of athletes and teams. He is the director of the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA).
