Summary

During the Cold War, communism was a viable threat to the world. Vladimir Lenin, led two rebellions against the Russian czar and became the first Communist leader in 1905. He was followed by Joseph Stalin and then Nikita Khrushchev who led the Soviet Union with open hostility toward the United States fueling the Cold War.
