Author Biography

Antony Augoustakis is Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the author of Motherhood and the Other: Fashioning Female Power in Flavian Epic (2010) and Plautus' Mercator (2009).

Ariana Traill is Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the author of Women and the Comic Plot in Menander (2008) and numerous articles on Greek and Roman comedy and its reception.
