Kenneth Ain, M.D., is a professor of medicine at the University of Kentucky; director of the Thyroid Oncology Program at The Markey Cancer Center; director of the Thyroid Cancer Research Laboratory at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky; and medical advisor to The Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association. Sara Rosenthal, Ph.D., is director of the University of Kentucky Program for Bioethics and Patients' Rights and assistant professor of Bioethics in the Department of Behavioral Science at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
