Summary

On the eve of completing a merger which could cement both her prospects at work and her relationship with her paramour, ambitious Manhattan attorney Susie Sherman discovers that she is unexpectedly pregnant. In doing so, Susie comes away with a new appreciation for her mother's sacrifices as well as the complicated nature of relationships between mothers and daughters.
