Fr. David Meconi, S.J. is a Professor of Patristics at Saint Louis University, where he teaches courses on Trinitarian theology, Christology, and soteriology in the early Church. A scholar of the life and thought of Augustine of Hippo, he is the author of The One Christ: Augustine's Theology of Deification (Catholic University of America Press) as well as the co-editor of the Cambridge University Companion to Augustine.
