Author Biography

Thomas Plante, Ph.D., ABPP, is Professor of Psychology and Religious Studies at Santa Clara University and Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has written or edited 17 books and has published over 150 journal articles and book chapters. He teaches courses in Abnormal, Clinical, Health, Ethics, Religion & Spirituality, Advanced Topics, and General Psychology. He maintains a private clinical practice as a licensed psychologist in Menlo Park, CA.
