Author Biography

Elizabeth Parsons is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Keele University. She specializes in the cultures of marketing and consumption. He publications span journals in marketing, retailing, consumer research, geography and voluntary sector studies. Pauline Maclaran is Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research at Royal Holloway, University of London. She specializes in cultural aspects of contemporary consumption. She is also Co-Editor in Chief of the journal Marketing Theory.
