Corações, Mentes e Mãos é a manifestação do método de treinamento que o missiólogo, professor e presidente de agência missionária, Dr. David Sills, desenvolveu depois de décadas de experiência em missões ao redor do mundo. Missionário e acadêmico no campo de desenvolvimento de liderança indígena, Dr. Sills, serviu na reunião do Comitê Para Evangelização Mundial em Pattaya, Tailândia e posteriormente na força tarefa para educação teológica do International Orality Network. Ele completou duas grandes pesquisas na área de pastores indígenas com necessidades de treinamento, e enfim fundou uma agência missionária para suprir necessidades identificadas por meio dessa pesquisas, além das necessidades que missionários pelo mundo inteiro escrevem para contar. Esse modelo de treinamento é a essência de Corações, Mentes e Mãos, que já tem sido usado para treinar pastores em sete centros de treinamentos em uma variedade de contextos mundiais.

The leading missionary scholar in the field of indigenous leadership development, Dr. Sills served at the Pattaya, Thailand gathering of the Lausanne Committee on World Evangelization, and later on the theological education taskforce of the International Orality Network. He completed two massive research studies with indigenous pastors in need of training, and ultimately founded a missions agency to meet the needs identified through these endeavors as well as out of the needs that missionaries from around the world write him about every day. That training model is the substance of Hearts, Heads, and Hands, which has now been used to train pastors at seven separate training centers in a variety of global settings.
