Summary

"Covenant" is a long poem, in English on the left page, in Russian translation on the right page, about the progress of the human spirit from the Creation to contemporary St. Petersburg. "Covenant" is used in university English classes in both Murmansk and St. Petersburg, and has proven extremely popular with the students.
