Author Biography

Bob Boardman is a Marine who fought in the Pacific in World War II with the First Tank Battalion of the famed First Marine Division. He was wounded on Peleliu and again, gravely, on Okinawa and was decorated with the Silver Star for gallantry in action. He resides in Seattle with his wife Jean and serves as chaplin of the First Marine Division Association and the Marine Corps Tanker's Association.
