Author Biography

Alison Saeger Panik has been teaching and working with children for 25 years, with a special interest in literacy and arts-integrated learning. She has published 10 children's books and hundreds of arts and crafts ideas for kids. Alison is also a mom, a gardener, and a beekeeper. She lives in Emmaus, PA. Ivanke was born in Buenos Aires Argentina as Ivan Kerner but to many, he is known as Ivanke. Growing up, he was always drawn to creating pictures that tell a story. He grew up surrounded by colored pencils and crayons and eventually moved towards graphic design. He has been illustrating for the last 8 years and his work can be seen in Argentina, Latin America, the USA, and Europe. When not illustrating, he loves playing soccer with his chocolate Labrador, seeing Woody Allen films, and traveling around the world.
