Author Biography

Jack Perconte has dedicated his post-major league baseball career to helping youth. He has worked in youth sports for more than 25 years. He is the author of The Making of a Hitter and Raising an Athlete.  He lives in Lisle, Illinois. Bill Vasko is an assistant coach at UMass Lowell and the owner and writer for CoachBook and Maxx Athletes. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching, administration, and athletics at the collegiate and high school levels. He lives in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts.
