Michael J. Allen is a former Commissioner at the Criminal Cases Review Commission and prior to that was Professor of Law at Newcastle Law School.

Ian Edwards is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of East Anglia. He has previously worked at Nottingham Law School, Cardiff Law School, and the University of Glamorgan.
