Author Biography

COLIN DURIEZ is one of the bestknown authors and experts on C. S. Lewis, his close friend J. R. R. Tolkien, and their literary creations Narnia and Middle-earth. He has lectured extensively on Lewis and Tolkien around the world, is a frequent commentator on them both on television (PBS and BBC) and radio, and is featured on the Lord of the Rings Extended Movie Version DVDs of 'The Two Towers' and 'The Return of the King'. His numerous books include 'The C. S. Lewis Encyclopedia', 'A Field Guide to Narnia', and 'Tolkien and C. S. Lewis: The Gift of Friendship'. He lives by Derwent Water in England's Lake District.
