Author Biography

John Cunningham is a Lecturer in History at the National University of Ireland, Galway where he teaches labour history, local history and on modern Ireland. He is currently joint editor of Saothar: Journal of the Irish Labour History Society. Niall Ó Ciosáin is Senior Lecturer in the Department of History at the National University of Ireland, Galway. His book, Print and Popular Culture in Ireland, 1750-1850 is published by Lilliput.
