Author Biography

Elana K. Arnold writes books for both children and adults. She received her master’s in creative writing from the University of California, where she taught creative writing and children’s literature. Her books include Girls Are Made Of, which was a finalist for the National Book Award, and A Boy Called Bat, which was selected for the Global Read Aloud. Her book Damsel earned a Printz Honor award.
