Author Biography

Robin Kish earned her MFA in kinesiology and an MS in physiology and biomechanics. She is a licensed massage therapist and certified in Pilates. She has been on the faculty of Chapman University since 2006 and is an active member in the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, Performing Arts Medicine Association, and National Dance Education Organization. After a career in ballet and musical theater, Jennie Morton trained as a sport massage therapist and osteopath, then obtained her MS in psychology. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University and has more than 25 years of experience training dancers in injury prevention and supporting recovery. She is a board member for the Performing Arts Medicine Association and the author of The Authentic Performer.
