Summary

Day Skipper for Sail and Power is the major reference book for anyone following the RYA Day Skipper theory or practical course. Completely up to date and packed with colour photographs and helpful diagrams, this is a clear and simple introduction that will be invaluable to anyone enrolling on the courses or intending to make coastal passages in a small boat.

Author Biography

Alison Noice is a Yachtmaster instructor and examiner, and an examiner of Yachtmaster Instructors. She now trains and examines radio instructors, runs short courses in radar, VHF radio and first aid, teaches Day Skipper and Yachtmaster theory courses and examines Yachtmaster Offshore candidates. Amazingly, she still finds time to sail for pleasure in her much-loved Sigma 33.
