DAYSTAR chronicles the 10 days before Aurora's launch to investigate the source of the new star in the sky. The galactic expedition is extremely controversial, but even more controversial is the ship's commander, John Reider.Commander Reider's reputation shined as the first astronaut to land on Mars, but tarnished later as the Director who dissolved NASA into private-sector research and development.
