Summary

In the middle of an investigation, Brooklyn private eye Nick Delvecchio is confronted with a family problem. His brother, Father Vincent, a Roman Catholic priest, has been accused of not only having an affair with his parishioners, but of murdering her. Gloria Mancuso was an upstanding member of her church, the mother of a beautiful daughter, and the president of the local PTA. But she had one problem - she was obsessed with Father Vincent and determined to get him into bed. And Vincent was tempted - so tempted that he actually went to see Gloria on the night of her murder. Now the police can place Vincent at the scene of the crime. Nick desperately tries to clear his brother and not shortchange his original client.
