Author Biography

Dorothy Simpson worked first as a French teacher and then for many years as a marriage counselor before she became a full-time writer. She is married with three adult children and lives in Kent in southern England, the setting for the Luke Thanet series. Last Seen Alive, the fifth Inspector Thanet novel, won the prestigious British Crime Writers Association Silver Dagger Award.
