They reached such prominence that Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, were spotted at concerts in Washington, and the band was invited to the White House.

Author Biography

Michael Getz is a poet and lyricist who lives in San Francisco, where he atted Dead concerts over many years. JOHN DWORK is a rock scholar, magazine publisher, and concert promoter based in Northampton, Massachusetts, and Portland, Oregon. Also available: Vol I and Vol II.
