This book deconstructs the concept of evidence-based practice (EBP) in order to strip it back to basics and then move towards a clearer understanding of it. The authors argue that there is little evidence that EBP results in better patient care and looks at other explanations for the rapid proliferation of EBP. Once unpicked, case-studies are used to examine the application of EBP in clinical practice.
