Author Biography

DONATELLA DELLA PORTA is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute, Italy. Her recent publications include The Global Justice Movement (co-authored), Globalization from Below (co-authored), The Policing of Transnational Protest (co-authored), Social Movement: An Introduction (co-authored), Transnational Protest and Global Activism and Social Movements in a Globalizing World (co-edited).
