This volume investigates the causes of limited or declining political participation in Europe, and explores a range of factors contributing to political apathy of the kind exemplified in public or individual indifference towards wider political practices, events and movements. At the same time it examines new, unconventional forms of political participation corresponding to the rapidly changing technological innovations.
