Author Biography

Along with Dentistry 101, David Longworth is also the author of a book entitled Survivor, which chronicles his naval career. Following his naval career, he pursued a career in dentistry. He attended the University of Minnesota and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1959. He then completed a post-doctorate two-year course in orthodontics at the University of Minnesota in 1962. He announced his limited practice to the specialty of orthodontics in 1963. Dr. Longworth is currently South Dakota's only orthodontist listed as a Premier Invisalign Provider.
