Author Biography

Jimmy Draper is a highly respected pastor, author and executive who currently serves as president emeritus of LifeWay Christian Resources, where he served as president and CEO for 15 years. He also served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention for two terms and has authored more than 25 books.Draper has spent 35 years serving as associate pastor and pastor of churches in Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and holds honorary doctorates from Howard Payne University, Dallas Baptist University, and Campbell University, California Baptist University and College of the Ozarks.
