Author Biography

Ashley Packard is a Professor of Communication and Digital Media Studies at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she chairs the Digital Media Studies Graduate Program. She has been teaching digital media law for more than a decade, and her articles on the subject have been published in the Journal of International Media Entertainment Law, Communication Law Policy, Communications and the Law, University of Georgia Journal of Intellectual Property Law, Law/Technology, and the International Encyclopedia of Communication.
