Author Biography

Ashley Packard is a Professor of Communication and Digital Media Studies at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she chairs the Digital Media Studies Graduate Program. She has been teaching digital media law for more than a decade, and her articles on the subject have been published in the Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law, Communication Law & Policy, Communications and the Law, University of Georgia Journal of Intellectual Property Law, Law/Technology, and the International Encyclopedia of Communication.
