Author Biography

Salina Yoon is an award-winning author and illustrator with nearly 200 books to her credit and a strong sales track record in novelty board books. Her titles include: Five Silly Turkeys (Price Stern Sloan/Penguin), Old MacDonald Had a Farm (Price Stern Sloan/Penguin), and Rock & Roll COLORS (Cartwheel/Scholastic). Salina has also written six bestselling titles for Sterling: One Halloween Night, One Christmas Eve, Do Crocs Kiss?, Do Cows Meow?, Space Walk, and Deep Sea Dive. In 2009 Salina won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal, Best Book Award, for both Toys and Rock & Roll Colors (Scholastic). Her title, Opposnakes (Simon & Schuster), was a 2009 finalist for the CBC's Children's Choice Book Awards for K-2nd Best Book of the Year.
