Author Biography

Penderel Moon was an ICS officer in the British government that ruled India. He was a witness to the events of the Partition. Tapan Raychaudhuri was formerly Professor of History at St Antony's College, Oxford. Mark Tully is a journalist and was formerly the BBC correspondent in India.
