Author Biography

Mark D. Brent began his legal career at the taw firm of Williams Montgomery John, in Chicago, Illinois, where he received extensive training and trial experience in many forms of litigation, including catastrophic death and injury cases, attorney and other professional malpractice cases, and insurance coverage/toxic tort litigation. Mark spent a decade as a solo practitioner, focusing his practice in family law over a five-county area in Chicagoland. He is now a member of the Drendel Jansons Law Group, with offices in Batavia and Aurora, Illinois. Although a litigator throughout his entire twenty-plus year career, Mark's practice now focuses solely in the area of family law, with a heavy concentration in the areas of contested divorce and custody cases.
