Author Biography

Elaine Williams Crockett is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Vermont Law School. She spent her legal career in the Office of the General Counsel at the United States Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. She is the author of Do Not Assume, winner of nine national book awards, including the CLUE Award, the INDIEFAB Award, and the National Indie Excellence Award. She lives in Georgetown with her husband and is currently working on another novel.
