Author Biography

Merrily Weisbord is the recipient of three Canada Council Awards for her nonfiction writing, most recently for From Montreal to Malabar, a journey with South Indian writer Kamala Das. A prolific and bestselling multimedia writer for more than thirty years, she has written, directed, edited, and produced for film, television, and CBC radio. She was Concordia University's first creative nonfiction writer-in-residence, and is a board member of the Quebec Writers Federation.
