Author Biography

Photojournalists and authors Maxine Cass and Fred Gebhart have traveled the world from their base in San Francisco for two decades. They have co-written and illustrated books on California, the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, the Canadian Rockies, and Florida. Maxine has authored several books on San Francisco and Mexico, while Fred has written about Alaska and East Asia.
