Author Biography

Tony Foster teaches English Language and Applied Linguistics at the Univesity of Leiden. He is specialized in Legal English, which he teaches to undergraduates, as well as legal scholars, attorneys-at-law and civil-law notaries, public prosecutors and judges. In addition, he teaches legal translation and comparative criminal law for the Stichting Instituut voor Gerechtstolken en -Vertalers (SIGV). Tony Foster's area of research is legal lexicography, legal translation and the teaching of research is legal lexicography, legal translation and the teaching of legal English.
