Author Biography

Rita De Maeseneer is a professor of Spanish American literature at the University of Antwerp and the author of numerous articles and books on topics pertaining to Caribbean and Latin American literature. Ingeborg Jongbloet was formerly the coordinator of the Centre for Mexican Studies at the University of Antwerp and coedited Mapas antiguos de México. Lieve Vangehuchten is the head of the Section of Spanish in the Faculty of Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp and the author of El léxico del discurso económico empresarial. An Van Hecke is an assistant professor of Spanish at Lessius University College in Antwerp; the author of various articles on Chicano, Guatemalan, and Mexican literature; and, with Rita De Maeseneer, the coeditor of El artista caribeño como guerrero de lo imaginario. Jasper Vervaeke is an assistant in the department of Hispanic language and literature at the University of Antwerp.
