Summary

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Jaime Bayly writer, journalist, television’s terrible kid, bisexual, divorced, father of two daughters, who now has a boyfriend, suddenly falls in love with Lucía Santamaría, a twenty-year-old psychology student who dreams of being a cursed writer.

Nobody seems to understand Bayly: how is it possible that an almost gay man in his forties, who’s had a boyfriend for years and has two daughters who adore him, can suddenly announce on live television that he has fallen in love with a young woman who could be his daughter and shortly after flaunt the fact that she’s pregnant? No one seems to understand Lucia: how is it possible that a twenty-year-old girl, the prettiest in school, the prettiest in her college, who has been pursued by the most handsome boys, who is somewhat of a bad girl, could fall in love with a man who is known for being gay and who could be her father?

This novel tells the story of an improbable and scandalous love, that of a famous writer and TV personality and a wanna-be cursed writer, who look like father and daughter, a dirty old man and insatiable Lolita, who are ready to set everything up in flames (family affections, economic interests, reputation, power, suitable loves) to surrender to the abyss of a passion that is not expected or understood, and that, at the same time, does not seem possible to avoid.
