JOHNNY BLACKDAWN no es más aquel adolescente que se debatía entre ser un pirata o servir en la Marina Real británica. Su camino lo ha llevado a convertirse en capitán de capitanes.
Sus habilidades en alta mar le han valido el mote, así como sus hazañas al frente de El Espectro, el letal barco pirata que ha golpeado una y otra vez a la Compañía de las Indias. Pero tras su éxito al frente de una revolución de bucaneros, Johnny ha dejado tras de sí grandes enemigos que esperan pacientemente el momento de vengarse.
En particular, dos hermanos que lo han perdido casi todo y que están dispuestos a arriesgar lo que les queda, con tal de verlo humillado y vencido, además de querer robarle el tesoro de Cortés. Para ello recurrirán a las tácticas más bajas y nadie del mundo de Johnny podrá considerarse a salvo, mucho menos su esposa e hijos.

JOHNNY BLACKDAWN is no longer the teenager that was once torn between becoming a pirate or serving in the British Royal Navy. His path led him to become captain of captains.
His abilities on the high seas have granted him his nickname, as well as his deeds at the helm of The Specter, that lethal pirate ship that has struck the East India Company time and time again. But after successfully leading a buccaneer revolution, Johnny has made some great enemies along the way, all patiently biding their time to retaliate.
Notably, two brothers who have lost almost everything and are willing to risk anything they’ve got left to see him humiliated and defeated, also want to steal the treasure of Cortes from him. To do so, they will use the lowest of tactics, and no one in Johnny’s world will be safe, much less his wife and kids.
Epic battles, dilemmas, and a dark spiral of madness and violence await Johnny. Will he be able to face the onslaught of revenge? What will it cost him and his own?
