The chance finding of a 13th century manuscript captures the attention of three Belgian university students who, suspecting it conceals a secret message, try to decode a complex cryptogram. Unaware of the importance of the undertaking, they piece together the jigsaw puzzle bit by bit and find themselves in maze in which, around every corner, the unexpected is lying in wait for them. It could even cost them their lives.
