Author Biography

Christophe Galfard (París, 1976) se doctoró en física en la Universidad de Cambridge bajo la tutela del mismísimo Stephen Hawking. Le gusta decir que aún conserva la camisa que vestía cuando investigaba con él los agujeros negros, aunque hace tiempo que abandonó el ámbito académico más cerrado para acompañar al gran público de la mano por los misterios del universo. Desde entonces se ha convertido en el divulgador joven más brillante y riguroso del momento, alternando animadas conferencias, apariciones enprogramas televisivos y alimentando la conversación directa con sus lectores a través de su página web (en especial en la sección «Pregúntame sobre el universo»). Con ese espíritu ha publicado tres novelas y también ayudó a su maestro y a su hija Lucy Hawking a escribir una exitosa novela juvenil, bestseller de The New York Times y traducida a 45 idiomas.
