Summary

TEXT IN SPANISH. Sugar Beth Carey has managed to make herself hated by all of her old friends in Parrish, the small Mississippi village to which she had vowed never to return. But the people in Parrish don't forgive and forget, and when Sugar Beth reluctantly returns after her third divorce, her old friends see an opportunity to humiliate her endlessly. Then there's Colin Byrne, whose career she had tried to destroy -- a modern-day prince planning the type of revenge that could bring a modern-day princess to her knees. Yet none of Sugar Beth's haters could possibly account for the strength of a woman who has learned lessons of survival time and time again.
