Summary

This book tackles one of the big puzzles in the field of development economics, examining why Argentina, despite rich natural resources and ample human capital, has endured such poor growth performance. Combining rigorous economic analysis with an institutional and historical approach, the authors point to what went wrong and offer a timely contribution to sustainable development dialogue.
